Our brand

Ginkgo biloba embodies a profound symbolism, combining longevity, resilience and natural elegance.
This tree, among the oldest in the world, carries within it the memory of time and history. For me, it represents a precious connection—an echo of my childhood and my family—that I wanted to embody at the heart of my brand.

Responsible technology

We combine craftsmanship and cutting-edge technology to design objects that are aesthetically pleasing, functional, and environmentally friendly. Using 3D printing, we manufacture on demand, minimizing material waste and favoring sustainable and recyclable materials. Each piece is then inspected and sometimes combined with other materials for a meticulous and personalized result. 3D printing is a new way of thinking about creation. It offers a vast freedom of shape, texture, and volume. Each creation is the result of thoughtful experimentation, respecting the material and sustainable design.

Durable and quality materials

At Lou, each material is carefully selected, with a focus on quality, durability and respect for the environment.
We favor low-impact materials:

  • PLA (bioplastic) for our 3D prints, a material of plant origin, biodegradable under industrial conditions.
  • Recycled cotton and organic cotton for the majority of our fabrics and macramé, combining softness, ethics and waste reduction.
  • Brass and stainless steel for our jewelry, chosen for their strength and longevity.
  • Miyuki® glass beads for the quality of our weavings

Eco-responsible

Conscious of our impact, we choose sustainable and environmentally friendly materials. Our packaging is mostly recycled, recyclable, or biodegradable. We adopt a sustainable production method, favoring small batches and custom manufacturing to limit waste and unsold items. The use of innovative technologies, such as 3D printing, also allows us to significantly reduce material loss. We also offer a selection of items with minor defects, sold at reduced prices, to limit waste and give each piece a second chance.
